It seems that things work a lot better when that is done, along with not using the card's utility to even show signal strength. The signal strength will be shown when I deleted it and I don't use the Network Wizard to do anything. Those were 3 things I did to make the wireless on the XP O/S become stable. Duane :)

Good filters would probably help a lot to reduce S/N. The software would be moderately complicated. There would be a feedback loop from the received signal (and the micro would need to take decisions based upon decoded clarity of the signal - not just signal strength) to the antenna/Rx control.
